My wonderful group

Like last year my group will consist of two very good friends of mine. The first member of my group is a familiar face to last year. This year Brayden will be in my group once agian. I have known Brayden since 7th grade, and Brayden has always been a unique figure. Photogenic is a word I would use to describe Brayden as he has always been a "pretty boy" even in middle school. But narrowing Brayden's character to his looks would be doing him an injustice. Brayden is also greatly into fashion and fits a "skater aesthetic". Brayden is also very charismatic and is one of the funniest people I have met so far in my young life. I believe Brayden role in the film will be as an actor and even helping out with directing. Next in my group is my good friend Sarah. Ive always idolized sarahs Creative mindset. She is the complete opposite of me where I tend to be creative in terms of editing, where she brings actual substance to certain elements of film that makes things stand out beyond what can be done in editing that I can provide. She also works well with Brayden as they have done work together in other classes other than media at a high rate of success. We have all known each other for 5+ years now.  We all work very well together and have a wide variety of skill sets. I am more than excited to get to do this with my Friends. I believe that we will be able to back our claims with the product we will provide. As we embark on this creative journey, the synergy between Brayden's acting and directorial contributions, Sarah's substance-infused creativity, and my own proficiency in editing promises a harmonious blend of talent. Our five-plus years of camaraderie lay a solid foundation for effective teamwork

  Location: Sarah's apartment building is the setting for the film. There is a clubhouse in there that we can occupy at any time of day we would like. It is very spacey and has a lot of things we can be doing in there, such as sitting in the movie room, playing pool, ping pong, and Foosball, to set the scene of everyone being together as a group. Comparing 9 the short length and long length

Short Film: What are some of my impressions? The short film "9" is our first true exposure to Acker's creative universe. The short and to the point style of the narrative pushes a focused scope of its plot, character development, special effects, and how he goes about directing. The plot unfolds with a sense of urgency, teleporting the audience in a post-apocalyptic world extremely different from the one we live in where mechanical beasts known as "Fabrication Machines" stay. Even through a small window of time, Acker easily pushes depth into the characters, creating an emotional connection with the audience. Even as the special effects are not Marvel Universe tier, they showcase Acker's readiness to invent a visually striking environment.
