 Hello, The last time I blogged I wrote about my group's worries about time management, Genre selection, and song selection. So we scheduled a call at around 5 today to discuss these worries. The conversation went great. My group and I decided on not only a genre but a song as well. My group and I decided to go with the holiday theme for this part of the year and are deciding on making a Christmas music video. The song of our choosing was All I want For Christmas by Mariah Carey. For the roles we decided everyone would be doing a little bit of everything. But I will more than likely be doing the editing again for this video. I want to expand on the editing part for this music video as I feel music videos use more effects than commercials. My group and I brainstormed ideas for what we will do in our music video. We thought of ways to incorporate our environment during the holiday season and how we can use it to our advantage for the music video. We decided we will more than likely shoot our video in multiple places including the mall and on the beach. The actual shooting of the video will take the entire day. Thankfully we have great minds working on this music video. I do not see any obstacles getting in my group's way as we always find solutions and work through them. In relation to work and the music video, My group members and I will always put the music video first over other activities such as work and sports. Im feeling a little more relieved than I did in my last blog as I feel the communication has helped with the nerves. I feel the music video will not be as fun as the commercial as we will have to drive more places than we did for the commercial. The thought is that out of 6 parents, 1 of them should be willing to drive us where ever we need to go. Until then, we will focus on the things in our control.
